Clear defeat in Dresden after 2-0 lead
The Starbulls Rosenheim suffered their third consecutive defeat on matchday eleven of the DEL2 season — and it was a heavy one, falling 2:6 on the road against the Dresdner Eislöwen. In front of 4,009 fans, the green-and-whites surged into a 2:0 lead midway through the first period with a quick-fire double strike from Keaton Mastrodonato and Jordan Taupert. But just as in their previous games, the Starbulls invited their opponents to score through unnecessary mistakes and defensive lapses — and never found a way back out of the losing streak.

Late rally couldn't prevent home defeat
Two days after Friday's 5-6 defeat in Weiden, the Starbulls Rosenheim once again exposed serious defensive problems in Sunday's home game on matchday ten of the DEL2 against the Lausitzer Füchse — compounded by a long stretch of missing their scoring touch. In doing so, they conceded three times as many goals as in their previous three games combined. Both offensively and defensively, they made too many wrong decisions and were punished in ice-cold fashion by a clinical home side.
