Klemen Pretnar temporarily joins the coaching staff
The Starbulls Rosenheim are receiving short-notice reinforcement behind the bench. Klemen Pretnar will join the existing coaching staff of Jamie Bartman and Mika Tarvainen as an additional Assistant Coach effective immediately.
The former Slovenian international looks back on a long international career and was himself active for Starbulls Rosenheim during the promotion season 2022/23. At the start of the current season, Pretnar returned to Rosenheim and took on a coaching role in the Starbulls' youth development setup. This means the former defenseman is already very familiar with the club and its structures.
The addition to the coaching staff is initially planned as an interim solution for the next two games ahead of the Deutschland Cup break. However, it is not ruled out that Klemen Pretnar may remain part of the coaching staff on a longer-term basis. In parallel, the Starbulls continue to explore the coaching market and are pressing ahead with their search for a new head coach.
