Admission & Security

From what time does the gate open?
The SPIE Arena typically opens one hour before puck drop. For top matches and during the playoffs, doors may open earlier — check the respective game announcement for the latest information.
Which bags am I allowed to bring?
Small bags up to DIN A4 size are permitted. Larger bags and backpacks may be turned away at the entrance — please leave them at home if possible. Bag checks and security screenings will take place at the entrance.

Tickets

Where can I get tickets?
Tickets are available online through our ticket shop or on site at the TicketZentrum Rosenheim — there is no box office at the arena. For home games we recommend buying online — top games regularly sell out.
Yes, discounted tickets are available.
Yes — students, pupils, retirees, people with disabilities, and other eligible groups receive discounted prices upon presentation of valid proof (ID check at the entrance).
Yes, wheelchair spaces are available.
Yes, the SPIE Arena has wheelchair spaces including a seat for a accompanying person. Please reserve in advance through the club office so we can guarantee your spot.

At the Arena

Yes, flags and drums are welcome!
Flags and fan merchandise are welcome, but must be approved in advance in accordance with the house rules. Flag poles must be made of flexible plastic and must not exceed a specified length. Please coordinate flags, drums, and megaphones with the fan representative beforehand.
Can I pay by card?
At the kiosks and stands inside the SPIE Arena, cash and card payments are accepted.
Smoking is not permitted inside the stadium.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the SPIE Arena. This also applies to e-cigarettes, vapes, and similar products.

House Rules of the SPIE Arena

SPIE Arena Rosenheim — home arena of the Starbulls Rosenheim. As of: season 2026/2027.

§ 1 Scope and Purpose

This house rules apply to all visitors to the SPIE Arena Rosenheim during events, especially during home games of the Starbulls Rosenheim.

The aim of these house rules is to provide all fans, guests, staff, players, partners, and volunteers with a safe, respectful, and positive stadium experience.

By entering the SPIE Arena, every visitor acknowledges these house rules as well as the instructions of the organizer and the security and stewarding staff.

§ 2 Arena Entry

Access to the SPIE Arena is permitted only with a valid ticket or corresponding authorization.

The organizer is entitled to deny entry or remove persons from the arena if:

  • no valid ticket can be presented,
  • a security risk exists,
  • the person is visibly heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs,
  • violate these house rules or legal regulations,
  • a stadium ban is in place.

The resale of tickets outside of official sales channels is prohibited.

§ 3 Security Checks

For security reasons, bag checks will be conducted upon entry.

Visitors are required to:

  • to present bags and carried items for inspection,
  • to follow the instructions of the security staff,
  • to cooperate with security checks.

Control may also be carried out using technical aids.

§ 4 Permitted Items

The following items are generally permitted inside the SPIE Arena:

  • small bags up to a maximum size of DIN A4,
  • Merchandise without security risk,
  • Photo and mobile phones for personal use,
  • standard digital cameras (no professional recording equipment),
  • Flags and fan merchandise subject to prior approval.

The organizer may prohibit certain items depending on the security situation and the event.

§ 5 Prohibited Items

The carrying or use of the following items is prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind,
  • Knives, dangerous tools or objects,
  • Pyrotechnics (e.g. flares, fireworks, smoke devices),
  • Glass bottles and cans,
  • own alcoholic beverages,
  • Drugs and illegal substances,
  • Laser pointers,
  • Animals (except assistance dogs),
  • racist, discriminatory, or unconstitutional materials,
  • professional recording devices without authorization.

Prohibited items will be confiscated; carrying them may result in exclusion from the event.

§ 6 Conduct in the SPIE Arena

All visitors must conduct themselves in a way that does not endanger, harass, or harm other people.

Not permitted in particular:

  • Violence, threats, or physical assaults,
  • racist, discriminatory, or offensive remarks,
  • throwing objects onto the ice or into spectator areas,
  • climbing fences, barriers, or facilities,
  • entering areas that are not open to the public,
  • blocking emergency escape and rescue routes,
  • the willful destruction of property.

The SPIE Arena is a place for all fans — regardless of origin, gender, age, religion, or personal lifestyle.

§ 7 Conduct During the Game

The Starbulls Rosenheim experience thrives on emotion, passion, and loud support.

Allowed and expressly encouraged are:

  • cheering on the team,
  • Fan chants,
  • Flags and fan activities within the designated framework,
  • positive support for the team.

Not accepted:

  • Insults directed at players, referees, or fans,
  • personal attacks,
  • throwing objects onto the ice,
  • Threats of violence or provocation.

§ 8 Seating and Standing Area Regulations

Every visitor is required to use the area indicated on their ticket.

For seat tickets:

  • the reserved seat must be taken,
  • other visitors must not be permanently obstructed.

Mutual consideration is required in standing areas.

Escape routes, stairways, and passageways must be kept clear at all times.

§ 9 Alcohol and Smoking

The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted exclusively at designated point-of-sale locations.

Persons who are visibly heavily intoxicated or whose behavior poses a risk may be denied entry.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the SPIE Arena. This also applies to e-cigarettes, vapes, and similar products.

§ 10 Photo, Video, and Audio Recordings

Private photos and videos are generally permitted.

Not permitted are:

  • professional photography without authorization,
  • the commercial use of images and audio/video material,
  • obstructing other visitors or the game operations.

The organizer may take photos, videos, and audio recordings during home games for media, marketing, and documentation purposes. By entering the arena, visitors agree that recordings of their likeness may be used in connection with the event.

§ 11 Fan Areas and Away Fans

Home and away fans will be treated with respect. Please stay within the designated fan sections.

Provocations, mutual aggression, or discriminatory actions will not be tolerated. The safety of all fans comes first.

§ 12 House Rules

The right of domicile in the SPIE Arena is exercised by Starbulls Rosenheim and the event organizer respectively.

Instructions from security staff, stewards, event management, and Starbulls Rosenheim personnel must be followed at all times.

In the event of violations, the following measures may be taken:

  • Warning,
  • Withdrawal of admission rights,
  • Ejected from the arena,
  • Stadium ban,
  • criminal complaint.

There is no entitlement to a refund of the ticket price in these cases.

§ 13 Sustainability and Cleanliness

The SPIE Arena is our shared meeting place. We ask all visitors:

  • to dispose of waste in the designated containers,
  • conserving resources,
  • to treat facilities with care,
  • to be considerate of other visitors.

§ 14 Emergencies and Evacuation

In an emergency, only the instructions of the event organizer and security staff are to be followed.

At an evacuation, the following applies:

  • Stay calm,
  • follow the marked escape routes,
  • do not retrieve any items,
  • follow the instructions of the staff.

§ 15 Entry into Force

This house rules policy takes effect at the start of the fiscal year on 01.05.2026 and applies to all events at the SPIE Arena Rosenheim.
