Starbulls Rosenheim sign Dominik Groß

The Starbulls Rosenheim are bolstering their roster for the upcoming season with Dominik Groß. The 21-year-old defenseman will fill another key U24 spot in the squad.

The Starbulls Rosenheim are strengthening their roster for the upcoming season with the addition of Dominik Groß. The 21-year-old defenseman will fill another key U24 spot in the squad.

A native of Straubing, Groß came up through renowned development programs and gained experience at the professional level from an early age. Last season, he began the year with EV Landshut before moving on to ESV Kaufbeuren.

With his athleticism, speed, and development potential, Groß is an ideal fit for the Starbulls' U24 requirements. The young defenseman has everything it takes to continue growing at DEL2 level and to take on an important role within the team.

"Dominik is a tall player with a long reach, which is a real asset especially on the defensive side. He plays a very physical, aggressive game and brings exactly the right qualities for his role in our system," says Starbulls head coach Jari Pasanen. "On top of that, he already has DEL2 experience under his belt and comes with a strong drive to keep improving."

With the signing of Dominik Groß, the Starbulls have — for the time being — completed their planning at the U24 position, continuing to build a well-balanced mix of experience and development potential throughout the roster.

Dominik Groß is also looking ahead to his new chapter with great anticipation: "The Starbulls Rosenheim are a club with a great tradition and clear ambitions. Combined with these incredible fans, it quickly became clear to me which team I'd be fighting for this season."

The Starbulls Rosenheim are delighted to welcome Dominik Groß to Rosenheim and wish him a successful start in the green and white jersey.
