Starbulls Rosenheim Bid Farewell to Several Players

With the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, planning for the upcoming campaign at Starbulls Rosenheim continues to move forward. As part of this process, it has now been confirmed that several players will not be part of the Starbulls roster in the 2026/27 season.

The following players will no longer represent the green and white going forward:

• Joel Keussen• Teemu Pulkkinen• Jannick Stein• C.J. Stretch• Ville Järveläinen• Wyatt Schingoethe• Charlie Sarault• Leon van der Linde (affiliate licence Augsburg)• Maximilian Vollmayer

A true Rosenheim icon, Maximilian Vollmayer shaped the club over many years, completing a total of twelve consecutive seasons in a Starbulls jersey with the campaign just concluded. More than almost any other player, Vollmayer embodies identity, reliability, and commitment to the Rosenheim location. Maximilian Vollmayer is leaving the club at his own request. The 30-year-old is looking to redirect himself both professionally and athletically, and will be entering working life by beginning a vocational training programme.

C.J. Stretch entered his third consecutive season with the club — four seasons in total — and led the team onto the ice as Captain over the past two years. In that role he took on responsibility and was an important part of the squad, both on the ice and in the locker room.

These decisions are the result of discussions held over recent weeks, as well as the sporting and structural considerations for the coming season. After an intense number of months filled with many shared experiences, Starbulls Rosenheim and the players mentioned will now go their separate ways.

Starbulls Rosenheim would like to thank all of the players for their commitment and professionalism in the green and white jersey. Each and every one of them took on responsibility during their time at the club and helped shape the team both on and off the ice. The Starbulls Rosenheim wish all of the players the very best and every success in whatever comes next — on and off the ice.
