Starbulls Rosenheim submit license documents on time

The Starbulls Rosenheim have submitted their licensing documents for the 2026/27 DEL2 season to the league on time and in full.

The Starbulls Rosenheim have submitted their licence application documents for the DEL2 2026/27 season to the league on time and in full.

For the first time, the licence is being applied for under the newly established SBR Spielbetriebs GmbH & Co. KG, into which the Starbulls Rosenheim's professional hockey operations have been transferred as part of the recently approved spin-off.

With the timely submission, the formal requirements to participate in the DEL2 licensing process have been met. The league will now review the submitted documents over the coming weeks.

The required documents for a possible participation in the PENNY DEL were also submitted on time.

Christoph Sandner, Managing Director of SBR Spielbetriebs GmbH & Co. KG, Darwin Kuhn, Authorized Signatory of SBR Spielbetriebs GmbH & Co. KG, and Marcus Thaller, Chairman of Starbulls Rosenheim e.V., view the submission as another important step in the structural development of the organization. With the spin-off into SBR Spielbetriebs GmbH & Co. KG, the organizational and financial framework for the future of professional ice hockey in Rosenheim has been newly established.

The Starbulls Rosenheim would like to thank all sponsors, partners, office staff, and tax consultancy EFA who contributed to the preparation and submission of the extensive documentation. A special thank-you also goes to our fans, who support the path the Starbulls Rosenheim have chosen and bring the stadium to life.
