Starbulls fill third roster spot with Jordy Bellerive

The Starbulls Rosenheim have filled their third import spot for the upcoming season: Jordy Bellerive will be suiting up for the green and white going forward.

The 27-year-old Canadian brings plenty of experience from high-level leagues. After several years in North America — including stints in the AHL — the forward has also made his mark in Europe more recently.

"Jordy is an offensively strong two-way forward with excellent skating ability and a great read of the game," says Starbulls head coach Jari Pasanen. "He brings speed, creativity and intensity, which makes him a perfect fit for our style of play. On top of that, he doesn't shy away from battles, goes to the net consistently and is particularly dangerous there. Those are exactly the elements we were sometimes missing last season. We're confident he can give our team a real boost."

With the signing of the Canadian, the Starbulls fill their third import spot and continue on their path of adding quality and dynamic play to the roster.

Jordy Bellerive is also looking forward to his new challenge in Rosenheim with great excitement: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the Starbulls. I've heard nothing but great things about the organization, the city and especially the fans. Seeing what the team accomplished last season makes me even more excited about the possibilities we have in the coming year.
