Heimat Bayern Wohnbau launches forward-looking residential project

The ceremonial groundbreaking on Wednesday, 18 March 2026 marked the official launch of the residential project "MAX-JOSEPH Ü60-Wohnen am Park" in Großkarolinenfeld. With this milestone, Heimat Bayern Wohnbau GmbH is sending a strong signal in favour of modern, forward-thinking housing concepts in the region.

On a plot along Heribert-Greiner-Straße, a high-quality residential development will take shape over the coming years, featuring 56 barrier-free apartments for residents aged 60 and above, alongside additional units catering to a variety of living situations. The concept is complemented by communal spaces, medical and office facilities, a public café, and outpatient assisted-living communities with round-the-clock care.

The project's goal is to combine independent living in later life with an optional support framework. The range of apartments on offer spans from compact one-room units to generous four-room apartments — all barrier-free and equipped with a balcony or terrace.

The strong interest already shown by the public underlines just how relevant this project is: a significant proportion of the apartments were reserved before construction even began. From a municipal perspective, the development is equally valued as an important contribution to the region's long-term future. The project brings modern housing together with social infrastructure while simultaneously creating new spaces for the whole community to connect.

With completion scheduled for early 2028, Großkarolinenfeld will gain a vibrant neighbourhood that goes far beyond conventional residential space and sets new standards for community-oriented living in later life.

Starbulls Rosenheim extend their warm congratulations to Heimat Bayern Wohnbau GmbH on this groundbreaking and wish the team every success in bringing the project to life.
