Starbulls Rosenheim and goaltender Oskar Autio are parting ways effective immediately. The Finnish goalie approached the club on several occasions over the past few weeks with the request to terminate his existing contract early.
Following a number of internal discussions, the Starbulls agreed to that request. The decision to cancel the contract was made by mutual consent. Both parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the background details.
As part of their roster planning, the Starbulls are also parting ways with defenseman Dominik Tiffels, who will not be suiting up for Rosenheim next season. Over the past few weeks, both sides held extensive talks about a possible continuation of their partnership, but were unable to find common ground. As a result, the Starbulls and Tiffels are now going their separate ways.
Starbulls Rosenheim would like to thank both players for their commitment in the green-and-white jersey and for their performances over the past seasons.
The Starbulls Rosenheim wish Oskar Autio and Dominik Tiffels all the best and continued success in their future sporting and personal endeavours.
