All the essential info for the season opener

This coming Friday, 18 September 2026, the Starbulls Rosenheim kick off the new DEL2 season 2026/27 with a home game against the Ravensburg Towerstars. Ahead of the season opener at the SPIE Arena, there are a few important organisational notes for all visitors.

Stadium Opening & Entry

The SPIE Arena will open one hour before puck drop. All entrances can be used as usual — nothing changes for fans regarding entry.

For visitors of the Marc O'Polo Lounge, entry begins one and a half hours before puck drop. Access to the lounge is also via the usual entrance, as always.

No Box Office — Get Your Tickets in Advance

As previously announced, there will be no walk-up box office at the SPIE Arena this season. Fans are therefore asked to purchase their tickets in advance through the online ticket shop or the TicketZentrum Rosenheim (the €2 service fee is waived when buying at the TicketZentrum Rosenheim). Wheelchair platforms will also be available again from Friday — as of now, three spaces are still available.

„Wolfgangs Brand" Bulls28 Remains Closed for Now

Due to ongoing construction work around the stadium entrance area, „Wolfgangs Brand" Bulls28 will remain closed for the first home game of the main round. This is expected to be the case for the following home game on 27 September as well. As things stand, the fan venue is set to reopen in October. The Starbulls will share the exact date in a separate announcement.

New at the Arena: WINZZ Weinschorle

There's also a new addition on the food and beverage side to start the season: from Friday, WINZZ Weinschorle will be served at the SPIE Arena for the first time. The wine spritzer from our new partner will be available both at the kiosks and in the Marc O'Polo Lounge.

The Starbulls Rosenheim look forward to kicking off the new DEL2 season together and to a fantastic atmosphere at the first home game of the main round at the SPIE Arena.
